On the occasion of this Decoration Day we will celebrate our annual Flower Communion Service. Please bring a bloom from your garden or favorite flower vendor to contribute to our collective vases as we symbolically reflect on our diversity in unity. We will also honor our dead and respectfully consider the meaning of their courageous sacrifices. All have families, friends and loved ones who grieve and seek to memorialize them. For their sake and for the future of our global village, we will renew our commitments to make new and clear promises for liberty, justice and peace in the transforming power of love. Come let us commune with beauty and contemplate our past, present and future.
