A Mother’s Day Service

There are many places we could go regarding the theme of Mother. My ministerial mentor the Rev. Dr. Dwight Brown had a tradition of speaking about peacemaking every Mother’s Day. He figured that was one quality or value that most Mother’s could align with, as they generally wouldn’t want their own children or anyone else’s to be involved in war or violence. Today we’ll celebrate Motherhood and the Feminine Virtues and Values found in all of life. Join our Family Choir in a service of song, celebration and cherished words to evoke our shared Spirit and desires to create a loving and peaceful world.
