Thank you for your interest in participating in our Holiday Market!

We will make the Sanctuary available to you to sell your hand-crafted items. SGUUF is offering wall space to hang items and tables on which to place items. During December, you will be responsible for setting up, replenishing and retrieving your art work, and collecting money for the sale of your items.

Setting Up Your Work

Saturday November 30th between 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Bring your items to the Sanctuary on Saturday November 30th between 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This will allow you sufficient time to install your items. You may bring “last minute” table items between 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 1st, if space is available.

Please have labels for your items indicating the artist, and price and, if appropriate, the title or how to contact you.

Display space is available on a “first come” basis. You may replenish as space allows.

Hanging Items

If you plan to hang items, bring them ready for hanging. SGUUF will provide a ladder, railing hooks and fishing line (30#). “Ready for hanging” means you will have eye hooks or other type of wiring, hooks, dowels, etc. on the back of your work to attach to the fish line that hangs from railing hooks. No nails or holes in the wall please.

You will need to hang the items yourself or bring someone who can assist you. We may have volunteers available to help with hanging, but not necessarily, so be prepared to be self-sufficient.

Items On Tables

We will provide tables for items that do not hang against the wall. Please bring your own display items, such as small table easels, props, signs, etc. if you plan to use them.

You will need to display/arrange the items yourself or bring someone who can assist you. You will likely share tables with others depending on space.

Sales

Sales will take place before and after each Sunday service during December.

The church is open for Christmas Market from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each Sunday. We encourage you to be available during sales times. Purchases will be on an “honor system.”

SGUUF will provide one or more Check Boxes in which Buyers may leave checks when they take items. We will also provide instructions to Buyers on using the Check Boxes. You are welcome to look in the Check Boxes to take any checks that are yours.

If you are physically present, you may also want to have cash for making change.

Collecting the Money

The money you collect from Christmas Market is yours to keep/donate to SGUUF as you choose.

If you plan to donate 100% of the proceeds to SGUUF, tell the Buyer to write the check to SGUUF and put your name in the memo line so that you will be credited with the donation.

If you plan to donate a percentage of the proceeds to SGUUF, then tell the Buyer to write the check to you (indicating the item purchased). You may then write a check to SGUUF.

End of Sale

Christmas Market will end after church on Sunday, December 29th. Please take any items home with you that day.
