No Kings: A Day of Resistance and Ridicule
Saturday, June 14
5-8 p.m.Â
State Capitol in Austin
1100 Congress Avenue
Hundreds of events are planned across the U.S. Here's the main website:Â https://www.nokings.org/.Â

In America, we don’t do royalty. We don’t bow to crowns, thrones, or anyone who acts like a king.
On June 14, join us at the Texas State Capitol for No Kings, Kick Out the Clowns —a nonpartisan, peaceful, creative, wildly satirical grassroots street circus – to say loud and clear: No Kings in America.
When someone in power starts acting like a monarch—defying checks and balances, enriching elites, and turning government into a personal stage—the whole system starts to look like a circus. So we’re flipping the script and reclaiming the big tent for democracy, accountability, and the rule of law.
Expect:
Parody and pageantry
Community action
Creative sign-making and satire
To help set a national record for the most circuses held in one day
We’re not gathered to entertain power — we’re building a movement that refuses to be ruled.
No crowns. No clowns. No kings. Just us.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
Sponsors include Indivisible, 50501, ACLU, Common Cause, Unitarian Universalist Association, and many more.Â
