The Unfolding by Eric Hepburn

Origami as a metaphor for the role of spirit in bringing a just, sustainable world into being. When we are beginners we follow the patterns, learning the skills to be able to make the folds. We can't see what we're making. We have to trust that the origami master is giving us good instructions. I want to suggest that there is a metaphor here for the spiritual life, with one important caveat. The unfolding instructions can arrive from our experience of the still small voice, our surrender or our supplication to the divine, but our access to visualize the final product remains as obscure as an origami novice.
