Here’s a way to continue your “Racial Justice” work — through Senior University.
Lou Snead, from SGUUF, will be teaching a course on the Tuesday afternoons in October from 2:15-3:30 pm entitled “The Role of Race and Racism in American History”.  Once you register with Senior University, you can choose to attend the class in person at the Georgetown Public Library or by Zoom.

Senior University is a local educational opportunity for adult learners to explore a variety
of subjects of interest that are taught by volunteers with some expertise in the subject
areas being offered each semester. This fall, there are 23 classes to choose from- five
sessions each being held in different venues around Georgetown or via Zoom on
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, depending on the course topic you
select. You may take all you want for your $95.00 registration fee. Information about

This year Senior University is also offering a special week-long lecture series beginning
on September 25 with a special week-long series of lectures on The Life and times of
Winston Churchill at the San Gabriel Presbyterian Church, with registrations to attend
being made separately.
