Ancestor Altar and Day of the Dead Event

Updated: Oct 22

For the ENTIRE month of October we will be honoring our beloved departed Ancestors and Friends!

Please bring Any Photos or decorations that you would like to include on the Ofrenda!

We have been hard at work setting the space for honoring our loved ones!

The only rule is that there can be no photos of the living, so pics with you and your loved one should be avoided!

The last time we did this was during Covid several years ago and, together, we created a beautiful space!

The official dates of Day of the Dead this year fall perfectly on Saturday November 1st through Sunday November 2nd.

We plan on having a gathering (TBD) to come together and collect our things and say goodbye.  If you are not able to make it to the gathering, things can be picked up anytime after November 2nd!!

This is such a special time of year and such a special honor for us all to love and remember our departed together as a beloved community!! We can't wait to see what you all come up with!

If you are feeling unsure about how this works... please reach out to me! Or if you have any questions about how to construct your personal ofrenda, I am happy to help.

Kindest Regards,

Kelly McGinty MA
