Writer: Admin SGUUFAdmin SGUUF

Hi, My name is Sheryl Sapriel and I am writing today on behalf of Congregation Havurah Shalom of Sun City in Georgetown Texas.

In partnership with The Georgetown Public Library, we are hosting a FREE event to commemorate Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 3:00pm-5:00pm.

Our event is entitled The Heroes of a Hidden Child: One Survivor’s Story of Gratitude

The event is FREE and all are welcome.

During the presentation Lucy Taus Katz, a holocaust survivor herself will engage attendees with the sharing of her story as a hidden child.

Join us as Lucy reflects on the selflessness of those who saved her and the profound lessons she carries forward.

This presentation, tailored for all ages, shares a message that is both timeless and urgent in today’s world.

This program will take place at The Georgetown Public Library’s Hewlett Room, located at 402 West 8th Street in Georgetown, Texas on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 3-5pm.

- Thanking you in advance,

Sheryl Sapriel
