New Adult Religious Education Class Added

SGUUF Adult Education Opportunity 

Lou Snead and John Ray will teach a six-week Adult Education course on UU Spirituality in the Fellowship House from 9:30 am to 10:20 am. on consecutive Sundays from September 14 through October 19.

Class schedule:

• September 14: Spirituality, Morality and Religion: How do they relate to each other? Does one imply the other(s)? John Ray, Presenter 

• September 21: Can a person be moral without God or Religion? John Ray, Presenter

• September 28: Where do I find the “spiritual “? What are the sources of the spiritual and how do I access them? John Ray, Presenter 

• October 5: Is spirituality primarily a private practice, or a communal practice? Lou Snead, presenter

• October 12: What does it mean to be spiritual but not religious? Lou Snead, presenter

• October 19: How can SGUUF encourage or strengthen spiritual growth? Lou Snead, presenter 

• NEW - October 26: The Biological Roots of Religion and Spirituality. Robert DeWester, presenter

There will be a lecture and discussion of the topic presented each week. Attend any sessions you would like. No registration or sign up needed. There will be no homework or tests.
