San Gabriel is the name of this Fellowship, the river that runs through Georgetown, and the river valley many of us call home. This valley is also the ancestral homeland of the Tonkawa people, who called it Takachue Pouetsu: "the land of good water." Sacred Currents, our reimagined earth-centered gatherings, takes its name in honor of that living heritage, strengthening our connection to the river, the land, one another, and ourselves.
Join us on Wednesday evenings beginning on August 12, 2026!
6:00-7:00 pm: Small group meetings (Singing Resistance, Connections Group, etc.)
7:00-7:15 pm: Transition, fellowship, and teatime.
7:15-8:15 pm: Sacred Currents Gathering.
