Spring is in full motion in the children's area right now. Habitat and RE have put in some plants, and nature has bountifully filled in the open space beside the raised beds. These are Texas native wildflowers as well as herbs we use at home. These are plants that the children, with guidance from RE adults, can touch and smell, and learn to observe the life that may come to them. San Gabriel UU Fellowship is seeking a warm, grounded Religious Exploration (RE) Guide to work with our elementary-age children on Sunday mornings. This role is for someone who loves kids, understands neurodivergence, and believes that relationship, agency, and trust matter more than compliance or control . On Sunday, October 5 th , our congregation will be invited to join the Board of SGUUF and two dozen advanced donors in supporting a capital campaign aimed at keeping our UU presence in Georgetown for years to come.
