As Part of Nation Wide NO KINGS Protests

As part of the nationwide No Kings protests


scheduled for this Saturday, October 18th, there are now several scheduled for our area. Here are the protests that are the closest geographically to San Gabriel Unitarian Universalist Church:


Round Rock -  on the sidewalks at Koughan Memorial Water Park Tower from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. The safety team will be wearing yellow vests. Note there is fencing erected in the area due to construction.


Pflugerville - 3201 Kelly Lane, 10am start.


Austin - begins at the State Capitol and then participants will march to Auditorium Shores:


2 pm: Rally begins on south lawn of Capitol


2:30 pm-ish: March to Auditorium Shores


3:15 pm-ish: Rally at Auditorium Shores, with music, speakers, table displays by organizations representing environment/climate, immigration, justice, labor, Indivisibles, and more.


Protests also scheduled for Taylor and Belton.

Please review the following helpful information to stay safe if attending one of these protests:


In addition, carry water to stay hydrated because the temps are forecasted to be in the 90s that afternoon. It's best to use a buddy system and have someone with you.
