Will SGUUF Still Be in Georgetown Ten Years from Now?
How will we answer that question? Those of us who have found a spiritual home in this UU Fellowship certainly hope so. The pioneers who took the bold step to purchase our SGUUF facilities in 2013 planned for it to be here into perpetuity. A host of committed and generous members and friends of our Fellowship over the past dozen years have invested in the continued presence of our UU church in Georgetown as we preserved through a pandemic and difficult leadership changes.

The Legacy Fund - Continuing the UU Presence in Georgetown TX
On Sunday, October 5 th , our congregation will be invited to join the Board of SGUUF and two dozen advanced donors in supporting a capital campaign aimed at keeping our UU presence in Georgetown for years to come. This campaign is designed to build upon the legacy of the 53 members who raised $175,000 in 2013 to purchase our current church facilities.
