Beginning October 2025 the The San Gabriel AA Recovery Group has a new home at San Gabriel UU! Hosting this group is in alignment with the values that our church holds close, and by providing them this space and opportunity we are providing the direct support that is sometimes lacking when we attempt to help those in need. Will SGUUF Still Be in Georgetown Ten Years from Now?
How will we answer that question? Those of us who have found a spiritual home in this UU Fellowship certainly hope so. The pioneers who took the bold step to purchase our SGUUF facilities in 2013 planned for it to be here into perpetuity. The Legacy Fund - Continuing the UU Presence in Georgetown TX
On Sunday, October 5 th , our congregation will be invited to join the Board of SGUUF and two dozen advanced donors in supporting a capital campaign aimed at keeping our UU presence in Georgetown for years to come.
